about us

We have a 40-year history of being recognized as the only speaker and performing arts bureau that represents those with a disability.

Damon Brooks and Associates is a non-profit speakers bureau exclusively representing the leading keynote speakers, trainers, authors, comedians, and influencers from the disability community. Celebrating over 40 years as a full-service speaker and event management bureau for clients from the corporate, non-profit, government and academic sectors.

It was that inspiration that gave Marc the idea to start a bureau that represents people with disability.

Attending a Hollywood fundraiser in the mid-1980s, one of Marc’s well-known personality friends brought to his attention an unknown comedian who used a wheelchair. What he did not know was the comedian had a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy. Then again, it didn’t matter because this guy was really funny. This flipped a switch and Marc thought, we may have something here.

“It has been our privilege to serve as a very special resource to the disability communities over these many years.”
— Marc Goldman

Damon Brooks & Associates client base has expanded to include a broad and varied group of organizations, from the smallest of local advocacy groups to college campuses, government agencies, and corporate entities.
